At VOQ, accessibility is part of our DNA. We believe that technology should empower everyone, regardless of ability. Our apps are designed and developed to be usable by as many people as possible, following best practices for inclusive design.

We are committed to meeting and exceeding accessibility requirements set by Norwegian and European laws, including the EU Web Accessibility Directive and Norway’s Equality and Anti-Discrimination Act. This means:

  • Consistent layouts and intuitive interactions
  • Continuous testing and improvement for accessibility
  • Following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for web and app development
  • Using semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and accessible components
  • Providing alternative text for images and media
  • Supporting dynamic font scaling and color contrast for mobile apps
